The American Board of Comprehensive Care is an independent organization founded in 2007 to certify graduates of Doctor of Nursing Practice programs who have met defined and accepted standards of practice. It is the only certifying organization examining doctoral level nurse practitioners in provision of comprehensive care.

CACC’s mission is to develop and promulgate the clinical doctoral role and measurable standards of practice through certification.

The Council is a consortium of distinguished academic and health policy leaders who are committed to assuring high standards of doctoral nursing practice.
